Russia again attacks power facility in Chernihiv Region at night

On the night of October 6, the army of the aggressor state of russia attacked an energy facility in the Chernihiv Region again. Power engineers have started restoring the facility.

The Chernihivoblenergo JSC has reported this on Telegram.

"At night, the enemy fired at the Ichnia District. Unfortunately, we have another hit to the energy facility," the statement said.

It is noted that power engineers have started restoration, but it will be carried out taking into account the security situation.

The regional power distribution companies reminded of information silence and personal security measures, and also called for avoiding approaching energy infrastructure facilities during air raid alert, as they are strategic targets of the enemy.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, last night the russian occupiers attacked the Chernihiv Region with drones - they hit an enterprise and an energy facility, resulting in emergency power outages in one of the districts. Hourly power outage schedules are still in effect.

On the night of October 5, the aggressor state of russia launched attacks on energy infrastructure facilities in Ukraine. In particular, the equipment of the Zaporizhzhiaoblenergo was damaged, and a significant number of consumers are without electricity.
