Over past 24 hours, 159 clashes recorded on russian-Ukrainian front - AfU General Staff

Ukrainian defenders are steadfastly holding back the onslaught of the invaders, inflicting significant losses on the enemy.

In total, 159 clashes were recorded over the past 24 hours.

This is stated in the text of the operational summary from the command of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Yesterday, the enemy launched three missile and 67 air strikes, used 41 missiles, dropped 142 guided aerial bombs. In addition, it carried out 4,433 shelling, including 93 from multiple launch rocket systems, and engaged 6,264 kamikaze drones for strikes.

The aggressor carried out air strikes, in particular, on the areas of the settlements of Kostiantynivka in the Donetsk Region; Hryhorivka, Lukyanivske, Pavlivka, Komyshuvakha in the Zaporizhzhia Region; Olhivka, Kherson Region.

Over the past day, aviation, missile troops and artillery of the Defense Forces struck six areas of concentration of personnel, weapons and military equipment, four artillery pieces and an enemy control point.

In the North-Slobozhansk and Axes, Ukrainian defenders repelled eight russian attacks. Over the past day, the enemy launched 12 air strikes, dropped a total of 25 guided aerial bombs and carried out 198 shelling, including 15 from multiple rocket launcher systems.

In the South-Slobozhansky Axis, our troops stopped 13 enemy attacks in the areas of the settlements of Vovchansk, Vovchanski Khutory, Kamyanka and Krasne Pershe.

In the Kupyansk Axis, three attacks by the invaders took place yesterday. Our defenders repelled enemy assault actions in the areas of the settlements of Kupyansk, Radkivka and towards the settlement of Pishchane.

In the Lyman Axis, the enemy attacked 12 times, trying to wedge into our defenses near the settlements of Hrekivka, Karpivka, Seredne, Shandryholovove, Kolodiazi, and Torske.

In the Siversk Axis, the Defense Forces repelled five enemy attacks near Serebrianka, Viyimka, Pereizne, and toward Yampil and Dronivka.

In the Kramatorsk Axis, no combat clashes were recorded over the past day.

In the Toretsk Axis, the enemy carried out ten attacks in the areas of the settlements of Shcherbynivka, Pleshchiivka, Rusyn Yar, and Poltavka.

In the Pokrovsk Axis, our defenders stopped 56 assault actions of the aggressor in the areas of the settlements of Volodymyrivka, Razyne, Nykanorivka, Rodynske, Novoekonomichne, Myrolyubivka, Pokrovsk, Zvirove, Kotlyne, Udachne, Novoserhiivka, and Filiya.

In the Novopavlivsk Axis, the enemy yesterday carried out 28 attacks in the areas of the settlements of Zelenyi Hai, Sosnivka, Vorone, Sichneve, Novoivanivka, Novohryhorivka and towards Novomykolaivka.

In the Huliaipole Axis, the Defense Forces repelled seven russian attacks in the Poltavka area.

In the Orikhiv Axis, the enemy made one attempt to break through the defense of our defenders in the direction of the settlement of Novoandriivka.

In the Prydniprovsk Axis, our defenders successfully stopped an enemy attack on the positions of the Defense Forces.

In the Volyn and Polissia Axes, no signs of the formation of offensive enemy groups were detected.

In total, the losses of the russian invaders over the past day amounted to 950 people.

Ukrainian soldiers also neutralized a tank, an armored combat vehicle, 15 artillery systems, a multiple launch rocket system, 450 unmanned aerial vehicles of the operational-tactical level, 10 missiles, 73 vehicles and a unit of special equipment of the occupiers.
