Air defense neutralize 53 out of 86 enemy UAVs at night, there are hits at 6 locations

On the night of Thursday, October 2, russian troops launched 49 drones, one anti-ship and four ballistic missiles over the territory of Ukraine, air defense forces managed to neutralize 46 UAVs.

This was announced by the press service of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Telegram channel, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

It is noted that on the night of October 2, the enemy attacked with 86 attack UAVs of the Shahed, Gerbera type and drones of other types from the directions: Bryansk, Oryol, Primorsko-Akhtarsk, Millerovo - russian federation.

"According to preliminary data, as of 09:00 am, air defenses shot down/suppressed 53 enemy UAVs of the Shahed, Gerbera type and drones of other types in the north, south and east of the country," the message says.

31 attack UAVs were recorded hitting 6 locations.

According to the Air Force at 9:06 am, the enemy attack continues - several enemy UAVs are in the airspace.
