Russia fires again at railroad in Chernihiv Region. Trains delayed again
Russian terrorist troops shelled the railway infrastructure in Chernihiv Region again, causing delays in all trains in the Sumy and Chernihiv directions. It was reported by the press service of Ukrzaliznytsia on Tuesday, September 30.
Railroad workers are currently inspecting the track, but have already detected a power outage in the Nizhyn direction as a result of repeated russian shelling.
"All trains in the Sumy and Chernihiv directions will run under backup diesel locomotives, which means delays. The most significant deviation from the schedule is currently train #143 Sumy - Lviv (7+ hours). In the opposite direction, train #144 Lviv - Sumy will also depart with a delay," the statement said.
Information about train delays can be checked at the link.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on September 30, Ukrzaliznytsia announced significant changes in the movement of suburban trains in the Nizhyn direction due to the difficult situation.
Due to the nighttime russian shelling, it is not possible to return trains in the Chernihiv direction to the usual schedule.
Recall that on the night of September 27, the railway infrastructure of the Odesa Region came under attack by russian drones.
