Almost 600 drones and 48 missiles. Air Forces tell how many enemy targets were shot down
On the night of September 28, the russians launched a combined strike on Ukraine using strike UAVs, air- and sea-based missiles. There were 643 air attack means in total. It was reported by the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
What the enemy launched:
- 593 strike UAVs of the Shahed, Gerbera and other types of drones
- 2 Banderol type reactive UAVs from the Kursk Oblast
- 2 Kh-47M2 Kinzhal aeroballistic missiles from the airspace of the Lipetsk Oblast
- 38 Kh-101 cruise missiles from the airspace of the Saratov Oblast
- 8 Kalibr cruise missiles from the Black Sea.
The main direction of the strike was Kyiv.
As of 10:30 a.m., air defense systems shot down/suppressed 611 air targets:
- 566 enemy Shahed, Gerbera and other types of UAVs;
- 2 Banderol type jet UAVs;
- 35 Kh-101 cruise missiles;
- 8 Kalibr cruise missiles.
5 missiles and 31 strike UAVs were recorded at 16 locations, and downed aircraft (fragments) fell at 25 locations.
As a reminder, the death toll in Kyiv has increased to 4. Two killed people were found at the M. D. Strazhesko Institute of Cardiology of the National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine, which is located in the Solomianskyi District. The body of a 12-year-old girl from a five-story building was also unblocked in this area.
