Polish President Nawrocki uses snus during UN General Assembly. It was caught on video

During the 80th session of the UN General Assembly, Polish President Karol Nawrocki used snus. This was caught on camera, which put the Polish leader in the spotlight, Polskie Radio reports.

Thus, in the video, which quickly spread on social networks, you can see Nawrocki taking a small box, probably with snus, from an assistant and imperceptibly putting its contents into his mouth.

This behavior of Nawrocki caused a lively discussion on social networks. In particular, his act was characterized as a "complete compromise" and a "violation of etiquette" in the international arena.

It is worth noting that this is not the first time that Nawrocki has used a nicotine sachet in public. He previously made a similar gesture in late May during a live broadcast of the presidential debates in Poland.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, Karol Nawrocki was sworn in in the Polish parliament and officially took office as President on August 6, 2025.
