172 combat clashes take place at front during day, 64 of them in Pokrovsk Axis

On September 23, 172 combat clashes took place at the front, the enemy attacked most of all in the Pokrovsk (64 clashes) and Novopavlivsk (33) Axes.

This was announced by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Facebook, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

Over the past day, the enemy launched one missile and 53 air strikes on the positions of Ukrainian units and settlements, used two missiles and dropped 105 guided aerial bombs.

In addition, the enemy carried out 4,970 shelling, including 122 from multiple launch rocket systems, and used 5,995 kamikaze drones for strikes.

On September 23, 172 combat clashes with the russian occupiers were recorded at the front.

Thus, 12 combat clashes took place in the North-Slobozhansk and Kursk Axes.

The enemy launched 8 air strikes here, using 18 guided aerial bombs, and carried out 172 shelling, four of which were from multiple launch rocket systems.

In the South-Slobozhansk Axis, 11 enemy attacks were repelled in the areas of Vovchansk, Odradne and Zapadne.

In the Kupyansk Axis, 5 enemy attacks were repelled in the areas of Kupyansk, Kindrashivka and Petropavlivka.

In the Lyman Axis, 15 attacks were repelled in the areas of Hrekivka, Novomykhailivka, Seredne, Kolodiazi, Novoselivka, Torske and Shandryholovy.

In the Siversk Axis, 3 attacks were repelled in the areas of Dronivka and Yampol.

In the Kramatorsk Axis, three clashes took place in the areas of Kostiantynivka and Stupochky.

In the Toretsk Axis, 17 attacks were repelled near Pleshchiivka, Oleksandro-Kalynove, Sofiivka, Katerynivka, Oleksandro-Shultyne, Shcherbynivka, Kleban-Byk, Rusyn Yar, Yablunivka, and Poltavka.

In the Pokrovsk Axis, the Defense Forces stopped 64 assault actions of the aggressor near Volodymyrivka, Nykanorivka, Nove Shakhove, Zolotyi Kolodiaz, Novoekonomichne, Myroliubivka, Rodynske, Mykolaivka, Promin, Lysivka, Zvirove, Kotlyne, Udachne, Molodetske, Shevchenko, Dachne, and towards Novoukrainka and Filia.

In the Novopavlivsk Axis, 33 attacks were repelled in the areas of Novokhatske, Oleksandrohrad, Sichneve, Novoselivka, Sosnivka, Ternovo, Novoheorhiivka, Piddubne, Komyshuvakha, Novomykolaivka, Novoivanivka and towards Uspenivka.

In the Hulyaipole Axis, the Defense Forces repelled 5 enemy attacks near Poltavka.

In the Orikhiv Axis, one enemy attack was repelled in the area of ​​the settlement of Kamianske.

In the Prydniprovsk Axis, the enemy did not conduct offensive operations.

Over the past day, the Defense Forces' aviation, missile troops and artillery struck three areas of concentration of personnel, one warehouse for storing weapons and military equipment, and an enemy forward command post.

In total, the losses of the russian occupiers on September 23 amounted to 970 people.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on September 22, 179 combat clashes took place at the front, with the enemy attacking most frequently in the Pokrovsk (58 clashes) and Novopavlivsk (31) Axes.

The russians are now attacking Ukraine with drones not only at night, but also during the day in order to exhaust air defense and strike infrastructure facilities.
