Ukraine currently conducting Dobropillia counteroffensive operation. 9 settlements liberated - Zelenskyy
During the counteroffensive operation, the Ukrainian Defense Forces liberated seven settlements in the Dobropillia Axis, and cleared nine more of the russian presence. This was reported by President Volodymyr Zelenskyy from the Donetsk Region on Thursday, September 18.
Zelenskyy said that today he visited Ukrainian fighters participating in the Dobropillia counteroffensive operation. According to him, the russian occupiers are suffering significant losses. More than 1,300 russians were killed in the Pokrovsk area alone.
"Since the start of the operation, our soldiers have already liberated 160 square kilometers, more than 170 square kilometers have been cleared of the occupier. We have significantly replenished our exchange fund - there are already almost a hundred russian prisoners, there will be more. Seven settlements in the Axis have already been liberated, nine more have been cleared of the russian presence," Zelenskyy said.
