SSU UAVs flew 1,400 km and hit one of the largest oil refining and petrochemical plants in RF - sources

The Security Service of Ukraine (SSU) drones flew to Bashkortostan of the russian federation and hit one of the largest oil refining and petrochemical plants.

This was told to the Ukrainian News Agency by sources in the SSU.

SSU drones hit Gazprom Neftekhim Salavat. The distance there is 1,400 km. According to preliminary information, the drones hit the ELOU-AVT-4 installation - the heart of the plant. It is it that first purifies oil from water and salts, and then converts it into gasoline, diesel, kerosene and fuel oil. A strong fire is recorded on the territory of the plant and a black column of smoke rises. The fact of damage to the refinery was also confirmed by representatives of the Bashkortostan authorities.

"The SSU systematically blocks the flow of petrodollars to the russian military budget. Every hit at a russian refinery reduces the aggressor's ability to fight against Ukraine. Deep strikes deep into the russian federation demonstrate that there are no longer any safe regions for the enemy," said an SSU source.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, previously, drones from the Security Service of Ukraine struck the largest russian oil loading port on the Baltic Sea, which is the final destination of the Baltic pipeline system. Primorsk is a key hub for loading the "shadow fleet," with the help of which the russian federation circumvents international sanctions and sells oil on foreign markets. About 60 million tons of oil pass through the port every year, bringing russia approximately USD 15 billion.
