Tsyvinskyi begins personnel purges at BES
The new director of the Bureau of Economic Security, Oleksandr Tsyvinskyi, began personnel purges at BES, dismissing some deputies and appointing new ones.
This is evidenced by the BES data, the Ukrainian News agency reports.
Tsyvinskyi dismissed deputy Serhii Perkhun from his position. The BES director also dismissed deputy director Maksym Kuterha from his position. Instead, Tsyvinskyi appointed new deputies. In particular, the BES director appointed Pavlo Buzdyhan, Taras Shcherbai, and Yurii Belousov as his deputies.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, the sons of the head of the Kirovohrad Regional Council work in management positions at BES and declare gifts worth millions of hryvnias. Oleksandr Tsyvinskyi's predecessor as head of the Bureau of Economic Security, Serhii Perkhun, bought an apartment in Dnipro last year, and his wife has bought 50 types of cryptocurrencies since the beginning of the war. The son of the new director of BES left for the UK under the Home for Ukraine program. The wife of the newly appointed director of BES is renting an apartment in Kyiv and building a new one, although her husband has his own large home in the capital.
