Trump announces investigation into Soros

US President Donald Trump announced the launch of an investigation into billionaire George Soros and his network of organizations. He announced this on the Fox TV channel.

"We plan to investigate the activities of Soros, because there is a RICO [Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act - ed.] case against him and others," Trump said.

According to the President, Soros and his son Alex are accused of financing "violent protests" in the US and attempts to destabilize the political situation. Trump also called the billionaire a "psychopath", and his entourage - "a group of psychopaths who are harming America".

Trump previously called for 95-year-old George Soros to be imprisoned.
