US adopts sanctions against companies that helped russia circumvent sanctions

The US has adopted new export restrictions against companies that helped russia circumvent sanctions; companies from russia, China, India, Iran, Taiwan, Singapore, the UAE and Turkey have been subject to restrictions.

The head of the Presidential Office, Andrii Yermak, announced this on his Telegram channel, the Ukrainian News agency reports.

"This is another important step in destroying the Kremlin's ability to maintain its military machine," he wrote.

The US sanctions list includes:

- 23 Chinese companies;

- 3 Turkish;

- 2 from the UAE;

- one each from India, Iran, Singapore and Taiwan;

- russian firms.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, Japan and the UK have introduced new packages of sanctions against the aggressor country of russia.

In particular, the sanctions package from the UK included 70 tankers of the "shadow fleet", 27 companies, manufacturers and suppliers for the russian military-industrial complex, including those involved in the production of "Iskanders", as well as three individuals.

Japan imposed sanctions against russian military-industrial complex companies, several shadow fleet operators and suppliers for the russian military-industrial complex from China, Turkey and the UAE; against individuals involved in the deportation of Ukrainian children.
