Number of artillery and drone attacks increasing in Chernihiv Region - Regional Military Administration
The number of russian air attacks, in particular with strike and FPV drones, has increased in the Chernihiv Region. This was reported by the head of the Chernihiv Regional Military Administration, Vyacheslav Chaus, on the air of a telethon.
"The intensity of shelling is increasing. The number of air attacks has increased - most of them are Shaheds and FPV drones," Chaus informed.
He also noted that over the past 24 hours alone, the Chernihiv Region has been subjected to 37 shelling. 52 explosions thundered in 21 settlements. Four districts of the region were under attack by the russian invaders.
It is noted that in Chernihiv on September 11, the buildings of one of the enterprises were damaged due to a probable hit by a Geran drone. Also, in the Nizhyn and Koriukiv districts, a fire broke out in the forest on an area of over 1 hectare, which was managed to be localized.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, the russian federation is remotely mining the Chernihiv Region using Gerberas more than 30 km deep into the region.
On the afternoon of September 4, Bryzhynskyi said that in the Chernihiv Region, during an air alert, a ballistic missile hit was recorded near a checkpoint at the entrance to the city near the settlement of Novoselivka. Later, it became known that the russian federation launched a missile strike on the employees of the demining mission in the Chernihiv Region.
