Part of Kherson mined after shelling by russians with shells with mines. Police show what they look like
The army of the aggressor country russia shelled Kherson with cluster munitions, which scattered PFM-1 "Peliustka" (Flower Petal) anti-personnel mines over part of the city.
It was reported by the regional department of the National Police.
The occupiers carried out the shelling on the night of today, September 8. At the time of publication of the news, anti-personnel mines were discovered at the following locations:
at the intersection of Nezalezhnosti Avenue and Perekopska Street; on Universytetska Street in the area of Ivana Mozghovoho Square and the intersection with Suboty Street; on Ukrainska Street between the intersections with Kremenchutska and Ladychuka Streets. The police emphasized that recently the occupiers have increased the intensity of remote mining of Kherson and settlements in the region located on the banks of the Dnieper.
Law enforcement officers have published photos of such mines. The images show that they look like fallen tree leaves. And one shows that such mines are extremely difficult to see if they have fallen among vegetation.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, last Friday, September 5, in Kherson, a 13-year-old boy was blown up by a mine of the occupiers while riding a bicycle.
