Sorting depot of Nova Poshta damaged by russian attack

As a result of the massive attack of the aggressor country russia on Kyiv on the night of August 28, the sorting depot of Nova Poshta was damaged, the hit fell on the car yard.

This is stated in the company's message, the Ukrainian News agency reports.

"On the night of August 28, 2025, Russia committed another war crime - it hit a civilian logistics infrastructure facility in Kyiv with a missile," the message says.

It is noted that three employees were injured as a result of the strike.

One of the employees is in serious condition (Slavenskyi Serhii, a specialist at the site), two others are in moderate condition (Dulniev Ivan, a specialist at the site and Yukhymchuk Yurii, a driver of the BDF car).

Nova Poshta reports that it is already providing the victims and their families with all the necessary support - medical, psychological and material.

The parcels were not damaged.

However, delivery may be delayed, since sorting was not carried out during the air alert.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, according to a report by the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, on the night of Thursday, August 28, russian troops launched 598 strike UAVs and 31 missiles over the territory of Ukraine, air defense forces managed to neutralize a total of 589 enemy targets, missiles and strike UAVs were recorded hitting 13 locations, and downed objects (fragments) fell in 26 locations.
