Due to drone attack in Sumy, all water utility facilities de-energized, water supplied according to schedule

In Sumy, due to a massive attack by russian drones, all water utility facilities are de-energized and are being switched to emergency backup power. This was reported by the Municipal Water Utility Company on Facebook.

So, today, July 27, water in the city will be supplied according to a schedule with reduced pressure:

- from 5:00 am to 10:00 am;

- from 06:00 pm to 10:00 pm.

It is also reported that due to the de-energizing of the booster pumps of the central heating station, water supply to the upper floors of multi-storey buildings in Sumy will be absent. Water supply in the usual mode will resume after the power supply stabilizes.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on the night of August 25, russian occupiers attacked the Sumy community. In the Pischanskyi district, the street is almost completely destroyed, 5 people were injured.

On the night of August 18, the russian occupiers hit Sumy with a ballistic missile and damaged the windows, facade and doors of one of the buildings of the educational institution.

As of August 26, evacuation from the border communities of the Sumy Region is ongoing; 47 residents, including 9 children, left the border communities in a week.
