Ukrainian pilot killed in MiG-29 crash - Ukrainian Air Force

On the night of August 23, during landing approach after completing a combat mission, the pilot of a MiG-29 fighter, Major Serhii Viktorovych Bondar, was killed.

This was announced by the command of the Ukrainian Air Force on the department's official page on the social network Telegram.

"During the landing approach, the pilot of a MiG-29 fighter, Major Serhii Viktorovych Bondar, born in 1979, was killedd," the military stated.

The causes and circumstances of the crash are currently being investigated.
