68 combat clashes take place on front since beginning of current day – AFU General Staff's operational update

Since the beginning of this day, 68 combat clashes have taken place.

Today, communities of border settlements suffered from enemy artillery fire, in particular, Boiaro-Lezhachi, Simeikyne, Bila Bereza, Shalyhyne, Khodyne, Bobylivka and Bilokopytove in the Sumy Region. Rudnia was hit by airstrikes with bombs.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has stated this in its operational update on Facebook, the Ukrainian News agency reports.

Since the beginning of the day, two attacks by enemy troops have taken place on the North-Slobozhanshchyna and Kursk axes. In addition, the enemy launched 5 airstrikes, dropping 14 guided bombs, and also carried out 134 attacks on the positions of our troops and settlements, nine of which were from multiple launch rocket systems. Ukrainian units are taking active actions to disrupt the plans of the occupier, having achieved some success in some locations.

On the South-Slobozhanshchyna axis, the Defense Forces repelled two enemy attacks near the settlement of Kamianka.

On the Kupiansk axis, the russian occupiers tried to break through our defenses near the settlements of Kindrashivka, Zapadne, Holubivka and Stepova Novoselivka. Six out of nine attacks were repelled by Ukrainian soldiers, and fighting continues.

On the Lyman axis, the invading army carried out 14 attacks on the positions of Ukrainian units near the settlements of Karpivka, Zelena Dolyna, Kolodiazi and towards Serebrianka and Hryhorivka, two clashes are ongoing.

Once, the occupiers tried to advance on the Siversk axis, the aggressor was active in the area of Hryhorivka.

On the Kramatorsk axis, no attacking actions of the aggressor have been recorded at the moment.

On the Toretsk axis, the enemy carried out four assault operations in the areas of Toretsk, Dyliivka and towards Pleshchiivka. One battle is still ongoing.

On the Pokrovsk axis, the russian invaders made 26 attempts to push our defenders from the occupied positions in the areas of the settlements of Poltavka, Volodymyrivka, Nove Shakhove, Novoekonomichne, Rodynske, Promyn, Lysivka, Chunyshyne, Zvirove, Kotlyne, Udachne, Horikhove, Muravka and Filiia. The defense forces are holding back the onslaught and repelling 24 enemy attacks, and fighting is still ongoing in two locations.

On the Novopavlivka axis, the enemy tried to break through the defenses of our defenders in the areas of the settlements of Novokhatske, Vilne Pole, Myrne, Voskresenka, Maliivka and Olhivske. The defense forces have already repelled four enemy assaults, and four more clashes are ongoing.

On the Huliaipole axis, the settlement of Bilohiria was hit by airstrikes; on the Orikhiv axis, Preobrazhenka and Orikhiv were hit by enemy KABs.

On the Dnieper axis, the enemy tried twice in vain to get close to our defenders, and also carried out an airstrike in the area of the settlement of Kozatske.

In the remaining directions, there were no significant changes.
