Melania Trump ready to sue Hunter Biden over claims she met Donald Trump through Epstein

US First Lady Melania Trump has threatened to sue former President Joe Biden's son, Hunter, over his claim that she met Donald Trump through convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

This is reported by the BBC.

In early August, Hunter Biden said in an interview with director Andrew Callaghan that Epstein allegedly introduced the future couple. However, there is no evidence of this. According to Melania herself, which she voiced in an interview with Harper's Bazaar in 2016, their first meeting with Trump took place in November 1998 at a party organized by the founder of a modeling agency. Then she refused to give him her number, because he was with a companion.

Melania's lawyers sent Biden a letter demanding that he retract his words and publicly apologize. Otherwise, he risks a lawsuit for more than USD 1 billion in compensation. The document states that Biden's statements caused the first lady "significant financial and reputational damage" and also accuses him of using other people's names to attract attention to himself.

Lawyers believe that Hunter referred to an already deleted interview with journalist Michael Wolff. He once stated that Melania knew one of Epstein and Trump's acquaintances at the time of meeting her future husband. Subsequently, the publication withdrew this publication after legal objections from the first lady's representatives.

Recall, Donald Trump admitted that it was his wife Melania Trump who helped him realize the true intentions of russian leader vladimir putin regarding the war in Ukraine.
