Yanukovych's son's real estate "nationalized" in occupied Donetsk
The occupation administration of the Donetsk Region "nationalized" the real estate of the eldest son of fugitive president Viktor Yanukovych.
This was reported by the Telegram channel Mash in Donbas, associated with russian federal media.
Back in 2022, the invaders decided to "nationalize" the so-called "ownerless" property in the occupied territories, in particular in the Donetsk Region.
Several offices of the company Mako-Holding, which belongs to Oleksandr Yanukovych, were "nationalized".
According to the occupiers, Mako-Holding was registered in the Ukrainian-controlled territory of the Donetsk Region until 2023. The company's taxes allegedly went there.
"Only in 2023 did Oleksandr Yanukovych wake up, register a business in Donetsk and immediately begin to demand premises (over 500 square meters) in the business center on Bohdan Khmelnytskyi," the Telegram channel claims.
Because of this, Oleksandr Yanukovych allegedly quarreled with the occupation administration and even sued the "Prosecutor General's Office". Despite these attempts, he failed to return the property.
It should be noted that the occupation administration of the Donetsk Region or the russian media did not write anything about this.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, in February of this year, russian media wrote that Oleksandr Yanukovych was engaged in the sale of coal mined in the occupied territories. He was allegedly going to Turkey and the European Union countries.
Recall, in October 2024 it became known that Oleksandr Yanukovych had received russian citizenship.
