President Trump announces meeting with putin on August 15 in Alaska

The meeting between US President Donald Trump and vladimir putin will take place on August 15 in Alaska.

The White House leader announced this on his social network Truth.

"The long-awaited meeting between me, as President of the United States of America, and president of russia vladimir putin will take place next Friday, August 15, 2025, in the Great State of Alaska," he wrote.

"Further details will come later," Trump added and thanked for the attention to this issue.

Earlier, as Ukrainian News Agency reported, the US administration reported that it considered it likely that Trump would meet with putin and President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy in the near future, as well as the signing of a peace agreement with their participation in the coming months.
