Night enemy attack in Odesa Region results in damage of sewage pumping station, enterprise buildings, and injuring gas station guard
On the night of Friday, August 8, russian occupation forces attacked the Odesa District of the Odesa Region with drones, as a result of which a sewage pumping station, enterprise buildings were damaged, and a gas station guard was injured.
The head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration, Oleh Kiper, and the press service of the Odesa Regional Prosecutor's Office announced this on the Telegram messenger, the Ukrainian News agency reports.
According to the regional prosecutor's office, it was established that on the night of August 8, the armed forces of the russian federation attacked the Odesa District of the Odesa Region with Shahed-136 strike drones.
"Despite the effective work of our air defense forces, there is damage to the building of the sewage pumping station. Also in the suburbs, as a result of falling debris, dry grass caught fire. The fire was quickly extinguished," wrote Oleh Kiper.
The administrative and technical buildings of one of the enterprises were also damaged.
A 54-year-old security guard at a gas station was injured in the shelling, where the glass was blown out by the blast wave. The man received multiple cuts to his hand. Doctors provided him with all the necessary assistance, and the wounded man is currently continuing his treatment as an outpatient.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on the night of July 24, russian occupation forces launched a massive strike on Odesa with kamikaze drones, which resulted in fires, damaged civilian objects, in particular, a residential high-rise building, the Pryvoz market, a gas station, and architectural monuments in the historic center of the city, and injured people.
On the night of Friday, August 8, the russians attacked the Sumy Region with strike drones. There were no fatalities, but there were injuries and damage.
