"Russia's readiness is needed." Zelenskyy responded to putin's words about ending war

Ukraine confirms its readiness for a meeting at the level of leaders at any time to establish a lasting peace. Russia's readiness is needed if the signal about their readiness to end the war is really serious. This was announced by President Volodymyr Zelenskyy on Friday, August 1, in response to the statement of russian dictator vladimir putin.

Zelenskyy stressed that Ukraine supports the efforts of US President Donald Trump to end russian aggression, and also hears statements from the russian federation. According to him, Ukraine once again confirms its readiness for a meeting of leaders if russia gives a serious signal about its readiness to end the war, and does not delay time.

"We understand who makes decisions in russia and who should end this war. The whole world understands this too. Ukraine proposes to move from the exchange of statements and meetings at the technical level to the level of leaders' conversation. America proposed it. Ukraine supported it. Russia's readiness is needed," Zelenskyy emphasized.
