The russian occupation army attacked Kyiv with strike drones on the night of Monday, July 28, and as a result of enemy strikes, a multi-story residential building was damaged, 8 people were injured, including a two-year-old girl.
The head of the Kyiv City Military Administration, Tymur Tkachenko, announced this on the Telegram channel, the Ukrainian News agency reports.
Last night, the enemy carried out an attack on the capital using drones.
In total, the air alert in Kyiv lasted for more than 6.5 hours.
"In Kyiv, one location with damage is a residential 25-type roof building in the Darnytskyi District and the area adjacent to the building. As a result of the attack, windows were broken and the glazing of balconies from the 3rd to the 11th floor in one of the entrances was damaged. Separately, windows flew out in other parts of the building. The yard and cars parked next to the building were damaged," Tkachenko reported.
He added that 8 people were injured in the Darnytskyi District as a result of the attack by one of these drones alone.
Four of them were hospitalized, including a two-year-old girl with a cut wound.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on the night of Monday, July 28, russian troops launched 324 drones and 7 missiles of various types over the territory of Ukraine, and air defense forces managed to neutralize 309 drones and 2 cruise missiles.
On the night of July 21, Kyiv suffered one of the most severe massive missile-Shahed attacks. More than 15 direct hits were recorded on objects in the capital.
It was also reported that in Kyiv, the warhead of a downed russian Kh-69 missile fell next to a residential building and could detonate at any moment. Sappers eliminated the object in safe conditions. At that time, emergency services urged people not to approach the fragments of missiles, drones or other explosive objects, and if they were found, to call "101".
