During night, RF massively attacked regions of Ukraine from air: main attacks were on Dnipro, Kamianske and Kharkiv
On the night of July 26, the russians continued their attacks on Dnipro, Kamianske and Kharkiv. In all three cities, many explosions were heard against the background of drone and missile attacks.
The Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported about the attack.
Last night, an air alert was declared in Kyiv and a number of regions of Ukraine due to the threat of ballistics. This was at approximately 01:28 am. Approximately an hour later, Dnipro and Kharkiv underwent massive attack by Shaheds.
After the ballistics threat, the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine began to record high-speed targets flying to Dnipro, Kamianske, Kremenchuk and Kharkiv. However, it later became known that a series of explosions were heard in Dnipro and Kharkiv. There was no information about the consequences at the moment, but the Kharkiv authorities reported that the strike was on the Kyivskyi district. And after the second one, they were wounded.
There was no information about Kamianske and Kremenchuk. Apparently, the attack on these cities did not happen. An hour before that, the head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, Serhii Lysak, wrote that the enemy had launched a missile attack. As a result, a fire broke out in the city. A little later, Mayor Andrii Bilousov confirmed the attack and showed the first photo of the consequences.
According to the latest data, as of 03:08 am, a ballistic threat appeared again, but this time from the east. Then a high-speed target was recorded in Kharkiv, but there was no information about the explosion.
After that, Suspilne reported the sounds of explosions in Dnipro, which lasted about an hour. Later, the military noted that Dnipro and Kamianske were under a massive attack by drones. There was no information about the consequences yet.
"The massive attack on Dnipro and the region continues. Do not leave shelters. Hold on!" informed the head of the Regional Military Administration Serhii Lysak about the situation as of 03:20 am.
In addition, at 02:22 am, the mayor of Kharkiv Ihor Terekhov and the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration Oleh Syniehubov also began to write about the massive drone attack on Kharkiv. About a dozen explosions were heard in the city for 40 minutes. It is known that at least the Kyivskyi district was under attack.
Zaporizhzhia was under attack by drones. In particular, the work of air defense could be heard in the city. As of 03:06 am, the head of the Regional Military Administration Ivan Fedorov wrote that there are several fires in the Zaporizhzhia district due to the russian attack.
"There is a hit on a non-residential building. Preliminary, no casualties. The consequences of the attack are being established," the message says.
That night, the russians attacked Kharkiv not only with drones and missiles, but also with aerial bombs. In total, the city was under a massive combined attack for almost three hours, as reported by mayor Ihor Terekhov.
"The enemy used several types of weapons at once - guided bombs, ballistic missiles and kamikaze drones. 4 strikes with guided bombs, 2 strikes with ballistic missiles and about 15 attacks with Shaheds were previously recorded," the report said at 03:29 am.
On the night of June 25, the enemy launched two ballistic missiles Iskander-M/KN-23 and 61 unmanned aerial vehicles of the Shahed type and a drone-simulator.
In particular, as Ukrainian News Agency reported, on the morning of July 25, russian occupiers attacked the city of Sumy. An administrative building was damaged, a fire broke out.
