17-year-old boys must register for military service by July 31 - Chernihiv territorial recruitment and social support center
Young men who turn 17 must register for military service by July 31. This is stated in a message of the Chernihiv Regional Territorial Center for Recruiting and Social Support on Thursday, July 24.
The territorial recruitment and social support centers noted that the registration of 17-year-olds for military service is carried out to determine the available human potential, study the personal qualities of young men, and also establish their educational level. At the same time, registration for military service is not equated with conscription for military service.
Information is entered into the Unified State Register of Conscripts, Persons Liable for Military Service and Reservists in the following way:
- by passing electronic identification and clarifying their personal data through the electronic account of the conscript, person liable for military service, reservist;
- by personal arrival at the district (city) territorial recruitment and social support center with the submission of the necessary documents established by the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.
Those young men who will not register for military service by July 31 must personally appear at the district (city) territorial recruitment and social support center.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on January 9, the Verkhovna Rada changed the procedure for registering conscripts aged 17 for military service.
