Trump says first Patriots for Ukraine already being sent

US President Donald Trump said that the first Patriot anti-aircraft missile systems intended for Ukraine have already left for the allies.

"They're already being shipped," - said Trump.

According to him, the complexes come from Germany, after which these deliveries are replaced by Germany itself. At the same time, the United States receives full payment for them in full.

" They're coming in from Germany and then replaced by Germany. And in all cases, the United States gets paid back in full," he added.

Trump also clarified that after July 14, when he confirmed his intention to transfer various types of weapons to Ukraine, including Patriot, he no longer communicated with russian president vladimir putin.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on July 14, US President Trump announced that Ukraine would receive 17 MIM-104 Patriot air defense systems. Some of them will arrive in the coming days. In addition, Trump is considering the possibility of transferring JASSM cruise missiles to Ukraine.
