This is obvious escalation of terror by russia – Zelenskyy responds to another combined strike on Ukraine

On the night of Thursday, July 10, the aggressor country russia launched a massive combined strike on Ukraine. It lasted almost ten hours. This time, the enemy used eighteen missiles, including ballistic missiles, and about 400 attack drones, of which almost 200 were Shaheds.

The President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy has announced this on Telegram.

According to him, the main target of the night attack was Kyiv and the region. The Chernihiv, Sumy, Poltava, Kirovohrad and Kharkiv Regions were also under attack. As of 9:27 a.m., two people were reported killed in Kyiv. There is also information about 16 wounded.

"This is an obvious escalation of terror by Russia: hundreds of Shaheds every night, constant strikes, massive attacks against Ukrainian cities. This means that acceleration is needed. We need to be faster with sanctions and put pressure on Russia so that they feel the consequences of their terror. Partners need to be faster with investments in weapons production and technology development," Zelenskyy noted.

He added that today he would talk with partners, in particular within the coalition of the willing, about additional funding for the production of interceptor drones and the supply of air defense for Ukraine.

"The tasks are absolutely clear. Such Russian strikes must be responded to harshly. That is exactly how we will respond," the President summed up.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on the night of July 10, Kyiv experienced a massive combined attack by russian drones and ballistic missiles. Powerful explosions were heard in the capital, fires broke out, and there were deaths and injuries.
