Kyiv suffers massive attack by russia: 2 people killed, 16 more injured

On the night of July 10, Kyiv experienced a massive combined attack by russian drones and ballistic missiles. Powerful explosions were heard in the capital, fires broke out, there were deaths and injuries.

The Head of the Kyiv City Military Administration, Tymur Tkachenko, the Air Forces, and the Mayor of Kyiv, Vitali Klitschko, have reported this.

At about 2:28 a.m., the Air Forces reported "high-speed targets" on Kyiv. After that, residents heard a series of explosions. According to the Kyiv City Military Administration, debris and drone hits were recorded in different districts of the city.

"We are recording the consequences of the attack in six districts of Kyiv. Residential buildings, cars, warehouses, office and non-residential buildings are burning. Unfortunately, we have three injured men with shrapnel wounds. The enemy attack continues. Defense forces are working on enemy targets," Tkachenko reported at 3:20 a.m.

According to Mayor Klitschko, fires broke out in Shevchenkivskyi, Darnytskyi, Solomianskyi, Holosiivskyi and Podilskyi Districts.

Throughout the night, the number of injured people was constantly growing: at 3:49 a.m., 6 injured people were reported, later 7, 8, 10, and at 4:58 a.m., 11 injured people were already known.

After 5 a.m., Tkachenko noted that in the capital, due to the large amount of smoke, people should close windows. At the same time, the number of injured people increased to 12, 9 of whom were hospitalized.

At 5:11 a.m. in Kyiv, the air raid alert was canceled.

Later, the head of the Kyiv City Military Administration reported on humanitarian headquarters in the Shevchenkivskyi District and 13 victims.

After 6 a.m., Tkachenko reported on two deaths.

"The number of victims in the capital has increased to 16 people. 10 of them were hospitalized by doctors, the rest were provided with assistance on the spot or on an outpatient basis," Klitschko said.

The defense forces continue to eliminate the consequences of the attack and work to eliminate threats.

Meanwhile, on the night of July 10, the russian occupiers attacked the Kyiv Region for 10 hours using drones and missiles. The consequences were recorded in 4 districts, including one wounded person.
