Chernyshov declares UAH 2 million in expenses for lawyers
Vice Prime Minister - Minister of National Unity Oleksii Chernyshov declared UAH 2 million in expenses for lawyers. This is evidenced by data from the Unified State Register of Declarations of Persons Authorized to Perform State or Local Self-Government Functions, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
On July 2, Chernyshov reported significant changes in his property status, in particular, expenses of UAH 2,190,000 for legal services made on June 22, 2025.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on June 23, the National Anti-Corruption Bureau and the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office served Chernyshov with suspicion of abuse of office and obtaining unlawful benefits in an especially large amount for himself and third parties. Chernyshov became the sixth suspect in the case of a large-scale corruption transaction in the construction sector with the participation of top state officials.
On June 27, Chernyshov was chosen as a preventive measure with a bail of UAH 120 million.
On July 2, the High Anti-Corruption Court refused to grant the petition to remove Chernyshov from office. On the same day, a bail of UAH 120 million was posted for Chernyshov.
