GDP ups 0.9% in Q1

In January-March 2025, real gross domestic product (GDP), according to operational data, increased by 0.9% compared to the same period in 2024.

This was announced by the State Statistics Service, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

The data are provided without taking into account the territories temporarily occupied by russia and parts of the territories where hostilities are (were) underway.

Compared to the 4th quarter of 2024, GDP increased by 0.7% (taking into account the seasonal factor).

The State Statistics Service clarifies the indicators of real gross domestic product throughout the year.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, in October-December 2024, real gross domestic product (GDP), according to operational data, decreased by 0.1% to UAH 2,194.371 billion compared to the same period in 2023.

In 2024, real gross domestic product, according to operational data, increased by 2.9% compared to 2023 (in constant 2021 prices) to UAH 7,658.659 billion (in actual prices).

The state budget for 2025 was developed based on the macroeconomic forecast, which predicts real GDP growth of 2.7%.
