The troops of the aggressor country russia attacked the temporary training ground of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Kherson Region with an Iskander-M missile, said the spokesman for the Ground Forces, Vitalii Sarantsev. His words were quoted by Suspilne on Sunday, June 22.
Sarantsev noted that the attacked training ground is temporary and is located in the Kherson Region. According to him, the servicemen managed to disperse and hide in shelter a few minutes before the russian strike with the Iskander-M missile.
"The servicemen do not live there, but simply arrive to perform certain training tasks. Unfortunately, there were some servicemen who neglected security measures - most of them were injured," Sarantsev said.
As a reminder, on June 22, the aggressor country russia launched a missile strike on the training ground of one of the mechanized brigades of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, resulting in the deaths of three and the injury of 11 servicemen.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on June 1, the russian federation launched a missile strike on a training unit of the Ground Forces, killing 12 people and injuring over 60.
On June 4, the aggressor country launched a missile strike on the territory of one of the training units in the Poltava community.
