Russian army attacks with drones, ballistic and cruise missiles at night. Air defense neutralizes 167 of 194 targets
On the night of June 15, the aggressor state Russia attacked Ukraine with 194 air attack vehicles, including drones, ballistic and cruise missiles. The main direction of the attack was the city of Kremenchuk. Air defense neutralized 167 air targets.
The Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported this on Telegram.
Thus, from 8 p.m. on June 14 and during the night of June 15, the enemy attacked with 194 air attack means:
- 183 Shahed attack UAVs and simulator drones of various types from the directions: Kursk, Shatalovo, Oryol, Bryansk, Millerovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk – the russian federation;
- 2 Kh-47M2 Kinzhal aeroballistic missiles from the airspace of the Astrakhan Oblast – the russian federation;
- 1 Iskander-M/KN-23 ballistic missile from the Kursk Oblast – the russian federation;
- 4 Iskander-K cruise missiles from the Rostov Oblast – the russian federation;
- 4 Kalibr cruise missiles from the Black Sea.
It is indicated that the main direction of the strike was the Poltava Region, the city of Kremenchuk.
According to preliminary data, as of 9:00 a.m., air defense neutralized 167 enemy air attack means, 119 were shot down by fire weapons, 48 were lost in location:
111 enemy UAVs of the Shahed type (other types of drones) were shot down by fire weapons, 48 were lost in location/suppressed by electronic warfare;
- 2 Kinzhal aeroballistic Kh-47M2;
- 3 Iskander-K cruise missiles;
- 3 Kalibr cruise missiles.
"A hit by enemy air attack means was recorded in Kremenchuk, Poltava Region, the fall of downed means (fragments) was in 6 locations," the message says.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on the night of June 15, the army of the aggressor state russia attacked the Poltava Region with drones and missiles, energy and agricultural infrastructure facilities, as well as houses, were hit.
