AFU Commander-in-Chief Syrskyi orders to increase number of interceptor drones

Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrskyi has held a meeting on countering enemy drones and called the first task - increasing the number of interceptor UAVs.

This is stated in the official message on the page of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Facebook.

"Task number one is to increase and scale up the means that are already working effectively. First of all - to increase the number of interceptor UAVs. We must take a comprehensive approach, use the capabilities of all available components.

The enemy is constantly changing the characteristics of its Shaheds and the tactics of their use. We discussed ways to improve the detection of enemy drones and their timely destruction," General Syrskyi's message states.

The Commander-in-Chief emphasized that the lives of people, the functioning of infrastructure and the economy depend on the implementation of these tasks.
