On the night of June 14, a drone attack hit the chemical plant "Nevinnomyssk Azot" in russia's Stavropol Krai, one of the largest producers of mineral fertilizers in the country. At least 10 explosions were heard over the city of Nevinnomyssk, and debris was recorded falling in the industrial zone. According to preliminary data, one person was injured.

Local residents reported that at about 3:20 a.m. an air raid siren sounded in the city, after which they heard a series of explosions and saw bright flashes in the sky. According to eyewitnesses, the explosions occurred in the area of ​​​​the chemical plant, where the Liutyi air defense system was probably deployed to counter drones.

Confirmation of the attack also appeared on social media, with users posting videos of loud explosions and flashes of light. Stavropol Krai Governor Vladimir Vladimirov said that debris had fallen on the industrial zone, injuring at least one person who is receiving medical attention.

The Nevinnomyssk Azot is part of the EuroChem group of companies and is a key chemical producer in russia. The company's total annual production capacity is over 1 million tons of ammonia, 1.4 million tons of ammonium nitrate and almost 0.9 million tons of urea.
