Russian Su-25 attack jet crashes in occupied Donetsk Region. Video published
A Su-25 attack jet of the aggressor country russia crashed near the occupied city of Soledar in the north of the Donetsk Region. The cause of the accident could have been "friendly fire" from another russian attack jet.
This is according to reports on the Internet, the Ukrainian News agency reports.
Today, June 13, a video with a pair of russian Su-25 attack jets appeared on the Internet. It is alleged that the video was filmed near the occupied Soledar.
In the video, you can see how both attack jets make an approach, after which they fire a salvo of unguided aircraft missiles. The fire was probably directed towards the positions of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.
After the missiles were fired, part of the wing of one of the attack jets breaks off. The plane catches fire and begins to fall.
The video also shows the parachute dome opening, indicating that the pilot of the plane successfully ejected.
Russian "military blogger" Fighterbomber wrote that his unnamed sources confirmed the crash of the attack aircraft.
"The pilot is in the hospital. Broken arm. What was broken here and who is to blame for this accident, the commission will figure out," he wrote.
Later, he published a post in which he noted that there could have been several reasons for the crash of the attack aircraft: from "friendly fire" to fatigue of the aircraft structure.
Another occupiers’ blogger "Voyevoda Veshchaet" also writes that the cause of the crash of the attack aircraft was destruction due to fatigue of the structure.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on June 7, the Ukrainian Defense Forces shot down the occupiers’ Su-35 fighter jet in the sky over the Kursk Oblast.
We also wrote that at the end of May this year, the Ukrainian Defense Forces shot down a new russian jet UAV for the first time. The incident occurred in the Black Sea.
