Owner of Parus business center and Ukraine hotel, Maksym Krippa, gains control over IEC in Kyiv
The owner of the Parus business center and the Ukraine hotel, as well as the NAVI e-sports team, Maksym Krippa, has gained control over 75% of the International Exhibition Center LLC (IEC, all - Kyiv), which positions itself as the largest exhibition facility not only in Kyiv, but also in Ukraine.
This is announced by Interfax-Ukraine, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
“I have been investing in real estate for almost 20 years - in the world and in Ukraine. Any deal in Ukraine for me is a symbol of faith in the future of the country and its investment attractiveness for international partners. Currently, we have fixed our agreements regarding this facility and will work on what is already there. The deal that took place concerns not only the shares of A.T.V.T., which owns 50.04% of the authorized capital of the IEC, but also the shares of Anatolii and Olena Tkachenko, the total acquired share in the ownership is 75+%,” he said in a comment to Interfax-Ukraine.
Regarding the plans for the asset, Krippa noted that today the IEC has the potential to be a point of concentration of large-scale industry and business events, a landmark platform that presents modern Ukraine to the world.
“The current task is to maintain a professional team of over 130 people, launch the process of rethinking the facility, making it more innovative and inclusive. In the future, I do not exclude the possibility of changing the purpose of the facility. We will take into account global trends and focus on market and audience demand, possibly testing new formats,” he said.
At the same time, according to Krippa, the IEC building does not need urgent modernization.
Currently, no expansion or reconstruction of the facility is planned.
In May 2025, the Antimonopoly Committee granted permission to the Cypriot company Citadel Ventures Cyprus Limited, the beneficiary of which, according to YouControl, is Krippa, to acquire control over another Cypriot company A.T.V.T. Business Expo Holdings Ltd., which owns 50.04% in LLC "IEC". The beneficiaries of LLC "IEC" are listed as directors Anatolii Viktorovych Tkachenko and Viktor Viktorovych Tkachenko.
Anatolii Tkachenko and Olena Viktorovna Tkachenko directly owned 12.49% of the LLC.
Another 24.98% is owned by the venture corporate investment fund Asborn, the beneficiary of which is Maryna Dorokhina - the daughter of the famous Kyiv developer of commercial real estate Vagif Aliyev.
In 2024, the IEC increased its revenue by 71.4% - to UAH 83.0 million, its net loss decreased 3.3 times - to UAH 7.1 million.
According to the center's website, the total area of the complex is 73,230 sq. m, the total area of exhibition halls is 38,680 sq. m.
It combines four pavilions with an exhibition area of 10,850 sq. m, 10,660 sq. m, 10,560 sq. m and 6,600 sq. m, 18 entrance groups and 20 cargo gates (for delivering oversized cargo directly to the exhibition halls).
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, in mid-September 2024, the owner of the NAVI e-sports team Krippa bought the Ukraine hotel for UAH 2.5 billion.
