CIA ex-director says Trump has "naive" misunderstanding of situation in Ukraine
Former director of the US Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) John Brennan (2013-2017) believes that President Donald Trump does not know what to do about the war of the aggressor country russia against Ukraine.
Brennan said this in an interview with the British publication Sky News.
According to him, Trump does not understand Ukraine and russian dictator vladimir putin. Brennan called this misunderstanding "naive" and "unsophisticated".
The former CIA director believes that Trump does not know what to do to end the russian-Ukrainian war.
According to Sky News, Brennan has a sufficient understanding of the situation in Ukraine, since during his leadership the CIA began to provide assistance to Ukrainian intelligence.
Brennan himself said that when he visited Ukraine in 2014, Ukrainian intelligence was "riddled with a lot of the Russian services".
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on June 5, President Trump, talking about the war in Ukraine, said the parties need to "fight a little while."
Recall, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy criticized Trump for comparing the russian-Ukrainian war to sports.
We also wrote that Trump accused Ukraine of provoking russia into the latest massive shelling.
