Russia attacks Ukraine with ballistic missiles and strike drones. Iskander not shot down

On the night of Wednesday, June 11, russian troops launched 85 drones and an Iskander-M ballistic missile over the territory of Ukraine, the Air Defense Forces managed to shoot down 40 UAVs, and another 9 drones were lost/suppressed by electronic warfare means.

The press service of the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine announced this on the Telegram channel, the Ukrainian News agency reports.

It is noted that on the night of June 11 (from 11 p.m. on June 10), the enemy attacked with 85 Shahed attack UAVs and simulator UAVs of various types from the directions of Kursk, Oryol, Millerovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk (all - russian federation) and Chauda, ​​Hvardiiske (both - Crimea), as well as with an Iskander-M ballistic missile from the Kursk Oblast (russian federation).

The main directions of the air strike were the Kharkiv, Donetsk and Odesa Regions.

"As of 8:00 a.m., air defenses neutralized 49 enemy Shahed UAVs (drones of other types) in the east, south, north and center of the country. 40 were shot down by fire weapons, 9 were lost/suppressed by electronic warfare," the report says.

Enemy air attack means hit in 14 locations, and fragments of the downed strike means fell in 2 locations.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on the night of June 10, the russians launched 322 air attack means over Ukraine, and air defense forces neutralized 284 of them: 220 were shot down by fire, and 64 were lost/suppressed by electronic warfare.
