Attack on Odesa: killed reported, maternity hospital, residential buildings, zoo, sports complex and train station damaged
On the night of June 10, russian troops attacked Odesa with strike drones, as a result of which two men were killed, nine more people were injured. This was reported by the Odesa Regional Prosecutor's Office.
"Under the procedural leadership of the Odesa Regional Prosecutor's Office, a pre-trial investigation has been launched into the fact of committing war crimes that caused the death of people" (Part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine),” the statement says.
According to preliminary data, the russian military used more than 10 strike drones. Among the victims are five women and three men with injuries, another woman suffered an acute stress reaction.
The attack caused damage to civilian infrastructure: residential buildings, a maternity hospital, an emergency medical station, a private clinic, a sports complex, a zoo, a railway station building, and cars of citizens were damaged.
Prosecutors and investigators are documenting the consequences of the strike. The pre-trial investigation is being conducted by the SSU Department in the Odesa Region. The list of destruction is being specified.
