Master of Sports in diving Mykyta Kozubenko killed at front

31-year-old Mykyta Kozubenko, a master of sports of Ukraine in diving, coach, and fighter of the National Guard, was killed in the war with the russian invaders.

This was reported by the Sports Committee of Ukraine.

Mykyta is from Mykolaiv. He was engaged in diving since childhood, later he received the title of master of sports and since 2017 he has worked as a coach. He had the second coaching category, educated young people and devoted his life to sports. In 2018 he graduated from Petro Mohyla Black Sea State University.

After the full-scale invasion of the russian federation, Kozubenko joined the ranks of the National Guard. He was killed defending Ukraine.

“All this was his real life — studying, sports, training, educating young people. In the most difficult time for the country, Mykyta took up arms to defend his native land," the Committee notes.
