Russia launched 499 air targets at Ukraine at night. How air defense forces worked out
On the night of June 9, the russian occupiers attacked Ukraine with 499 air attack means, including aeroballistic and cruise missiles, as well as 479 drones. The air defense forces destroyed 479 air targets.
The Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported this.
Thus, from 8 p.m. on June 8 and during the night of June 9, the enemy attacked with 499 air attack vehicles:
- 479 Shahed strike UAVs and simulator drones of various types from the directions: Kursk, Shatalovo, Oryol, Millerovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk - the russian federation;
- 4 Kh-47 M2 Kinzhal aeroballistic missiles from the Tambov Oblast - the russian federation;
- 10 Kh-101 cruise missiles from the Saratov Oblast – russia;
- 3 Kh-22 cruise missiles from the airspace over the Black Sea;
- 2 Kh-31P anti-radiolocation missiles from the airspace over the Black Sea;
- 1 Kh-35 cruise missile from the TOT of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea.
It is indicated that as of this morning, air defenses neutralized 479 enemy air attack vehicles, 292 were shot down by fire, 187 were lost in location:
- 277 enemy Shahed UAVs (unmanned aerial vehicles of other types) were shot down by fire, 183 were lost in location/suppressed by electronic warfare;
- 10 Kh-101 cruise missiles;
- 4 Kh-47 M2 Kinzhal aeroballistic missiles;
- 2 Kh-22 cruise missiles - did not reach their targets (lost in location);
- 2 Kh-31P anti-radar missiles;
- 1 Kh-35 cruise missile.
"The enemy's air attack was recorded in 10 locations, the fall of downed (fragments) in 17 locations," the Armed Forces of Ukraine added.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, as a result of the night russian attack in the Kyiv Region, in particular in the Boryspil District, damage was recorded to a residential building, an outbuilding and a passenger car.
Also, the aggressor country russia launched a massive strike on the territory of the Rivne Region. As a result of the attack, one person was injured.
The Polish Air Forces was forced to raise combat aircraft against the backdrop of the massive shelling of Ukrainian cities by russia.
