Karol Nawrocki wins Polish presidential election

The candidate from the Law and Justice party, Karol Nawrocki, won the second round of the presidential election in Poland. This was reported by Gazeta wyborcza.

Thus, after processing 100% of the data from polling stations, Karol Nawrocki received 50.89% of the votes and won the second round of the Polish presidential election.

At the same time, his opponent, the representative of the Civic Platform, Rafał Trzaskowski, received 49.11% of the votes.

The turnout in the second round of the presidential election was 71.63%.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on May 20, Karol Nawrocki said that he would not support the ratification of Ukraine's accession to NATO.

On May 6, Poland's Minister of Digital Technologies, Krzysztof Gawkowski, said that the aggressor country of russia tried to interfere in the presidential election by spreading disinformation and cyberattacks. The targets of the attacks were water supply and sewage companies, thermal power plants and state administration bodies. According to him, the level of russian activity in terms of cyberattacks in Poland has more than doubled compared to last year.
