Ukrainian F-16s to be connected to NATO's "military Wi-Fi" – Defense Ministry signs agreement on CRC System Interface

Ukraine and NATO have signed a license agreement for the use of non-commercial software - the Control and Warning Center System Interface (CRC System Interface, CSI).

Deputy Minister of Defense for Digital Development, Digitalization and Digital Transformation Kateryna Chernohorenko has announced this.

The signing of the agreement will allow Ukrainian F-16 and Mirage 2000 fighters, as well as integrated air and missile defense systems, including Patriot, to coordinate their actions in a single digital system with allied platforms.

The Control and Warning Center System Interface (CRC System Interface, CSI) and NATO's "military Wi-Fi" - Link-16 is one of the key data exchange protocols supported in this digital system.

CRC System Interface (CSI) is a hardware-software tactical information exchange system used to coordinate aviation and air defense operations. It allows for fast and reliable data exchange over various tactical communication channels with real-time information filtering, control, and synchronization.
