Drone attack in moscow oblast: Kronstadt plant hit

On the night of May 28, explosions thundered in the moscow oblast - the result of a large-scale drone attack. In the city of Dubna, a UAV production enterprise - the Kronstadt plant - was hit. It was reported by russian Telegram channels and the Astra publication.

In the morning, videos appeared showing the moment the plant was hit. According to local residents, the explosions occurred precisely on the territory of the enterprise.

According to information from its official website, the Kronstadt plant "has been developing its own engineering and information technologies in the unmanned industry for more than 15 years, which are in demand on the Russian and global markets."

The media also report that this enterprise can produce Orion strike and reconnaissance drones.

In addition to Kronstadt, the attack affected another enterprise - the ELMA technopark in Zelenograd (one of the districts of moscow). After the explosion, a fire broke out on its territory. According to the russian side, a car caught fire there.

According to the information on the website, the technopark specializes in "the production of electronic equipment, the production of control and measuring instruments, optical equipment, the processing of various materials, scientific and research activities, the field of information technology, the production of consumer goods".

On the night of May 28, explosions were also recorded in the cities of Podolsk, Troitsk and Ramenskoye. The attack temporarily suspended the work of moscow airports: Domodedovo, Vnukovo and Zhukovsky.

Local authorities announced the alleged shooting down of drones that were heading towards the capital.
