Krupa dismissed from post of Khmelnytskyi MSEC head

The head of the Khmelnytskyi MSEC Tetiana Krupa has finally been dismissed from her post.

This is evidenced by the data of the court registry, the Ukrainian News agency reports.

However, the court did not take this into account as a basis for reducing the risk of Krupa's influence on witnesses. "The defense attorney's reference to the fact that Krupa was dismissed from the post of chief physician of the Khmelnytskyi Regional Center for Medical and Social Expertise and to the termination of her powers as a member of the Khmelnytskyi Regional Council cannot exclude the aforementioned possibility," the court registry says.

The investigating judge believes that the risk of illegal influence on witnesses, other participants in the criminal proceedings, has not decreased in these criminal proceedings and continues to exist. Given that the suspect has assets abroad that have not yet been identified by the prosecution (due to the length of time it takes to obtain evidence under international legal assistance), Krupa may also take measures to prevent their detection, thereby hindering criminal proceedings.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, Krupa rented an apartment near the NACB building.

The NACB believes that Krupa received bribes on a regular basis in collusion with other members of the Khmelnytskyi MSEC.

The NACB found correspondence in Signal on Krupa’s phone with the State Bureau of Investigation and the heads of the Khmelnytskyi Prosecutor’s Office.
