Payers of "Google tax" increase their deductions in Q1

The State Tax Service reported that payers of the "Google tax" increased their deductions in the 1st quarter.

This is stated in the Tax Service's message, the Ukrainian News agency reports.

In January-March of this year, non-residents who supply electronic services to Ukrainian consumers paid VAT to the budget of EUR 39.6 million and USD 43.4 million.

As of April 1, in hryvnia equivalent, this is over UAH 3.5 billion.

This is + EUR 9.5 million and +USD 8.9 million, compared to the same period last year.

To date, 121 individuals have submitted the relevant reports.

The number of registered payers has increased by 26 new participants.

136 non-resident companies are already registered as VAT payers in Ukraine.

Top payers: Apple, Google, Valve, Meta, Sony, Etsy, Netflix, Wargaming, Bolt, OpenAI, Ebay, etc.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, this year, as in several previous years, some pensioners will be forced to pay taxes on pensions and additional income.
