Defense Ministry approves mobile flamethrower complex KRAMPUS for operation

The Ministry of Defense has codified and approved for operation in units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine the mobile flamethrower complex KRAMPUS of Ukrainian production. This is stated in the message of the Ministry of Defense, Ukrainian News Agency reports. It is designed to perform assault and defense tasks.

The KRAMPUS complex has compact dimensions and weight, fits in the body of a pickup truck, minibus or on a trailer. It is equipped with two silent electric engines and a tracked chassis, which provides high cross-country ability in difficult terrain - it can move off-road, through forest thickets, sand, swamps, and overcome steep slopes.

The complex has electronic warfare resistant control channels, works in cold, heat, snow, and rain. The platform's battery capacity is enough for several hours of continuous movement. Thanks to this, it can work at a position in standby mode for a long time.

The ground robotic complex is equipped with video cameras and a combat module with RPV-16 infantry flamethrowers capable of destroying enemy manpower and lightly armored vehicles.

It is noted that since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, the Ministry of Defense has codified and allowed for operation in the Defense Forces more than 80 ground robotic complexes, most of which are Ukrainian-made. In particular, in 2023, the defense department codified almost 10 domestically produced NRCs, in 2024 - more than 50, and since the beginning of 2025 - more than two dozen.
