Russia attacked Sumy Region with strike drones: enterprise infrastructure damaged - Regional Military Administration
On the night of May 19, russian invaders struck the Shostka district in the Sumy Region with unmanned aerial vehicles. According to preliminary data, six Shaheds hit the infrastructure of one of the local enterprises, the Sumy Regional Military Administration reported in its Telegram.
"In the Shostka community, there are preliminary reports of hit by six drones. The infrastructure of one of the enterprises was damaged," the Regional Military Administration statement says.
Emergency services are currently working at the scene. Information about the victims and the amount of material damage is being clarified. According to representatives of the administration, the operation to demine and eliminate the consequences of the attack is still ongoing.
Recall that in recent weeks the enemy has intensified the use of strike drones on critical infrastructure facilities in northern Ukraine. The Defense Forces urge the public to remain in safe shelters during air alerts and to report any drone sightings or debris landing sites to the appropriate services.
