Russian military personnel losses on May 8 increased by 1,300 to 963,270 people, and Ukrainian defenders destroyed 4 tanks, 4 armored combat vehicles, 36 artillery systems and 39 drones over the past day.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has stated this on Facebook, the Ukrainian News agency reports.

Thus, the enemy lost 4 tanks (total - 10,786), 4 armored combat vehicles (total - 22,433), 36 artillery systems (total - 27,588), 1 unit of rocket artillery (total - 1,380), 1 air defense system (total - 1,157), 120 units of motor vehicles and fuel tanks (total - 47,724) and 39 drones (total - 35,446) per day.

Since the beginning of the war, the enemy has also lost 3,875 units of special equipment, 3,197 cruise missiles, 372 aircraft, 335 helicopters, 28 ships/boats and 1 submarine.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, the losses of russian troops on May 7 increased by 1,200 to 961,970 people, and equipment losses increased by 2 tanks, 10 armored combat vehicles, 50 artillery systems, and 141 drones.
